Victim of their own success?

I’ve been using Boie toothbrushes for several years now, and until recently I’ve been very happy with them, singing their praises to my friends, family, hygienist and dentist. They’re gentle on teeth and gums and do an outstanding job keeping my teeth clean. Recently, though, the replacement heads haven’t stayed on properly. Rather, they slide up and down on the handle and pinch the inside of my mouth. The first time it happened I figured it was a dud. After the second one I contacted Boie but received no reply. I contacted them again after the 3rd one that slid; they responded that I “shouldn’t use it if it pinches” (d’ya think?) and asked in which shipment it had arrived, information which I’ve never tracked. At this point at least 50% of the replacement heads don’t fit properly, making BOIE toothbrushes a frustrating and expensive product. I plan to cancel my subscription and use up what I have. If the ones I have fit, I’ll restart my subscription, but I suspect I’ll soon be looking for a new toothbrush brand to buy.
